Subject: It was a billion degrees in there...
Two recordings for this night (Merin and Murray) are both very good. The Murray recording tracks ~2:02 ahead of Merin's, with more prominent vocals and louder recording overall. I find Merin's recording easier to hear the instrumental layers (maybe because of the vocal differences)? I dont know, both are very good recordings.

musical highlights are::
--potato song > so long > water [although the ">" into H20 was more like a (nh)]
--the She jam and seg into WIU
--the ">" parts of Head > DownBoy > Meat

Subject: Awesome show!
This show was great! There were some "down points" where some "newer material" worked its way in and the crowd seemed to like it but the energy really picked up during the seocnd set and encores....I mean Al on drums while vinnie sings can't you see...I was right at the stage and you could tell...it was improv all the way....which I love....I love to see musicians interact on stage and just "go with the flow" so to speak. Def worth a listen...some good solid stuff...essentially MEAT where chuck just goes freakin crazy! Just a blast to be there and see this show! I LOVE MOE!!

...was nuts. The crowd was out of control, crowd surfing, and mad glow sticks. The way the broken glow sticks lit up the floors walls and people was awesome. The disco ball topped it all off.

When they turned off the electricity the area I was in was still lit up by the glow stick juices and disco ball. Cids are great!!!

This venue sucked getting in and out and I felt like I was sitting in the middle of a lung when I was smoking a cigarette. But the inside was awesome...it reminded me of a western saloon, it was shallow and wide and the lights bounced all over the place...I can't wait to go back next year

This review is of the show only as I have not listened to the recording. The first set was pretty weak IMO. No real highlights to speak of I give it a C. The second set was much improved, but still lacked the fire. Without Can't you see & The Weight I would have been disappointed. I give the 2nd set a B. Overall show C+ to B-.

Subject: Great Set List
Went to the Melody Tent on Cape Cod the night before and the show was fantastic. However, I don't think I could have hand picked a better set than this one. Thanks for getting it up there so quickly!!
